Quad Pixel · Witch Trial

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 5, 2026

Overview

Quad Pixel ("we," "us," or "our") publishes Witch Trial (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Game processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

The current version of the Game does not require an account, does not contain advertising, and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other contact information.

Information we collect

The Android version of the Game uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It may automatically collect:

  • App and device information, such as an app-instance identifier, device type, operating system, app version, language, country or general region, and information about how the app was installed.
  • Usage information, such as when the Game is opened, session activity, and interactions within the Game.
  • Gameplay events, including days survived, selected upgrades, unlocked achievement identifiers, certain match outcomes, control method, and gameplay pacing settings.

We do not intentionally send player-entered names, precise location, contacts, photos, or the contents of files to Firebase Analytics.

Information stored on your device

The Game stores settings and progress—such as preferences, tutorial status, high scores, run history, and achievements—locally on your device. This local data is used to provide the Game and is not intentionally uploaded by Quad Pixel. Your operating system's backup features may back up local app data according to your device and account settings.

How we use information

We use analytics information to understand how the Game is used, balance gameplay, diagnose broad usage trends, and improve stability and design. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Game's analytics events to serve targeted advertising.

Service providers and sharing

Google processes analytics information on our behalf through Google Analytics for Firebase. Google may process information on servers in multiple countries and handles it under its own terms and privacy practices. You can learn more from Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not otherwise share analytics information except with service providers acting on our behalf.

Data retention and security

Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics and is deleted or aggregated when it is no longer needed for the purposes described above. We use reasonable safeguards and rely on Google's security measures, but no method of electronic processing is completely secure.

You can remove locally stored Game data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the Game, subject to any device backup settings.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction or objection to processing of your personal information, and to complain to a data-protection authority.

Because the Game does not use accounts and we do not collect your name or email address in the Game, we may be unable to connect analytics records to you without an applicable app-instance identifier. Contact us using the developer contact details on the store page where you obtained the Game. We may ask for information needed to verify and process your request.

Children's privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us through the store listing so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game or our privacy practices change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required by law.
